The Eagle Informs student newsletter keeps you informed about events on campus, updates and available services. This newsletter is under the purview of the Office of Student Affairs.

November 17, 2025 (Volume 5: Issue 12)

Stress Free Week at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï brings creativity, comfort, and fun as students gear up for finals with relaxing activities across campus. On Tuesday, November 18th, stop by the Upper SUB from 12:00 to 2:00 PM or 6:00 to 8:00 PM for Color Me Clayful, where you can craft with clay and decorate tote bags and ornaments. The magic continues Wednesday, November 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Upper SUB during Prepping for the O.W.L.S, offering potion mixing, treats, drinks, and candle painting for all aspiring wizards. On Thursday, November 20th, end your evening at Lucky Lanes from 9:30 to 11:30 PM at the Bowladrome, where bowling earns you raffle tickets for a chance to win a winter basket. Stress Free Week continues Monday, December 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Upper SUB at Wreaths and Treats, featuring mini-Lego sets, wreath decorating, a hot chocolate bar, and cookies while supplies last. Then on Tuesday, December 2nd from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, swing by the Upper SUB for Recharge and Relax to grab Dutch Bros, a Crumbl cookie, and a well-earned back massage with your student ID or event pass.

November 10, 2025 (Volume 5: Issue 11)

November brings creative, reflective, and energizing opportunities to campus at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï as students dive into art, wellness, and community engagement. On Thursday, November 13th, stop by the Upper SUB from 12:00 to 2:00 PM for Ink-Block Prints during Eagle Hour, where the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Art Club will help you create your own autumn-inspired prints to take home. If you’re ready to unwind, join Yoga in the Library on Thursday, November 13th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM or Tuesday, November 18th from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in room 101 for a rejuvenating flow and gratitude meditation with mats provided. You can also stop by the Student Affairs Office in Taylor 235 on Thursday, November 20th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM for the free Legal Clinic, where students, faculty, and staff can receive support in addressing legal concerns.

October wraps up with plenty of fun and learning at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï! Stop by the Student Affairs Office in Taylor 235 to grab two free movie tickets. Just show your current Îá°®³Ô¹Ï ID or Event Pass. Hurry, only 100 pairs are available, and the offer ends November 4th or while supplies last. On Tuesday, October 28th, join the RA Council in the Upper SUB from 12:00 to 2:00 PM for Alcohol Safety and Awareness. Enjoy Italian sodas, giveaways, and even coffee with a cop while learning about safe choices. Then on Friday, October 31st, bring your family and friends to Gilbert’s Trick or Treat Trail from 4:00 to 6:00 PM starting on the north side of the Taylor SUB Building. This festive event, hosted by Interclub, invites Îá°®³Ô¹Ï students, faculty, and staff for an evening of Halloween fun, candy, and community spirit.

October 20, 2025 (Volume 5: Issue 8)

October is full of exciting events at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï! On Tuesday, October 21st, stop by the Upper SUB from 12:00 to 2:00 PM for Basic Needs Eagle Hour where you can learn about Gilbert’s Pantry and pick up free essentials like toiletries, food, and school supplies. Later that evening, unwind at Autumn Delights from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Upper SUB where you can enjoy fall treats, crafts, and cozy vibes with friends. Then on Saturday, October 25th, lace up for the Great Pumpkin 5K Fun Run and Walk starting at 10:00 AM at the Desert Building Parking Lot. The first 250 participants will receive a Îá°®³Ô¹Ï _selfet, and Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Culinary Arts will be serving up tasty chili fixings at the finish line.

October 14, 2025 (Volume 5: Issue 7)

October is packed with fun and helpful events at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï! On Tuesday, October 14th, head to the Upper SUB from 12:00–2:00 PM for Revive Your Resume Eagle Hour—get expert help from the Work-Based Learning Center to polish up your resume just in time for job season. Then on Thursday, October 16th, don’t miss Grad Fest from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM in the Upper SUB—your one-stop shop for everything commencement. Need a break? Autumn Delights on Tuesday, October 21st from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Upper SUB offers fall treats, crafts, and chill vibes. Finally, bring your brainpower to Trivia in the Library on Thursday, October 22nd from 12:00–1:00 PM—no sign-up needed, just show up and compete for bragging rights!

October 6, 2025 (Volume 5: Issue 6)

Get in the game with Intramural Volleyball every Monday and Wednesday in October from 6:00–8:00 PM on the North Lawn or Rec Center Gym, free for Îá°®³Ô¹Ï students and just $10 for community members! On Tuesday, October 7th, stop by the Enrollment Services Eagle Hour from 12:00–2:00 PM in the Upper SUB for snacks, swag, and help getting set for spring registration. That night, join the fun at Tubbs Berry Farm Night from 9:00–11:00 PM near the Rose Garden with a straw maze scavenger hunt, petting zoo, and more (Student ID or Event Pass required). Then on Thursday, October 9th, don’t miss the Potion Party Eagle Hour from 12:00–2:00 PM in the Upper SUB, brew your own spooky drinks and enjoy Halloween treats!

Join Brains and Banter Trivia Eagle Hour on Tuesday, September 30th from 12:00–2:00 PM in the Upper SUB for snacks, prizes, and bragging rights. Then on Thursday, October 2nd, head to the North Lawn for Pumpkins and Pins—enjoy pumpkin bowling, cornhole, volleyball, and fall treats like cinnamon rolls and apple cider. Planning to transfer? Don’t miss the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Transfer Fair on Wednesday, October 8th to connect with colleges, universities, and military reps—plus enjoy free pizza, swag, and a chance to win a $500 scholarship.

Stop by the Upper SUB on Tuesday, September 23rd from 12:00–2:00 PM for the Library Eagle Hour, where you can enjoy mini golf, trivia, snacks, video games, and prizes! On Thursday, September 25th from 12:00–2:00 PM, don’t miss In My Golden Eagle Era Eagle Hour — create your own fidget pen, write your goals for the semester, and grab some exclusive Golden Eagle swag while supplies last. Join us for Eagle Hour on Tuesday, September 16th from 12:00–2:00 PM in the Upper SUB to unlock all that Student Affairs has to offer — from student clubs to Gilbert’s Pantry, legal help, and more! There will be free milk and cookies, plus a chance to win a $100 bookstore gift card. Don’t miss Thursday Night Lights on September 18th from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Upper SUB — watch the Dolphins take on the Bills, decorate a T-shirt, play trivia, and grab free pizza and drinks. Then on Monday, September 22nd at 5:30 PM, head to Canyon Building Room 119 for Speaking the Language of Emotion, a free session on building stronger emotional connections — food and childcare provided.

World Suicide Prevent Day is Wednesday, September 10th from 10:00-1:00 on the Taylor Building’s Northside Lawn. Join us for resources for mental health and wellness, opportunities to connect with campus and community support, and activities that promote hope, healing, and resilience. We will be doing a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11th from 8:30-9:00 AM on the Taylor Building’s Northside Lawn. Join us this weekend for two movies under the stars. Sinners is on Friday and La La Land is on Saturday. Both are at 9:00-11:00 PM on the Taylor Building’s Northside Lawn – bring chairs or _selfets.

Are you interested in becoming an Eagle Lead? Eagle Leads connect students with a mentor who listens, guides, and empowers them to thrive in college and beyond. There is a $900 scholarship attached, and it is a great way to build your leadership and communication skills. Join us for Eagle Hour on the 2nd for some ice cream and a chance to learn about ASÎá°®³Ô¹Ï Student Government. Then ‘Fall into the Semester’ with Eagle Leads on September 4th. Both activities are from 12:00-2:00 in the Upper SUB.
