How to Apply for the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Scholarship:

Follow these steps to apply for Îá°®³Ô¹Ï scholarships and maximize your chances of receiving financial support:

1. Complete the Admissions Process

  • For first-year students attending Îá°®³Ô¹Ï, your admission application also serves as your scholarship application. Be sure to complete the admissions process to be considered automatically.

2. Understand GPA Requirements

  • Scholarships are available to students regardless of GPA, though a GPA of 2.5 or higher improves eligibility for many awards.

3. Meet Enrollment Requirements

  • You must be enrolled in at least 1 credit to qualify for scholarships.

4. Submit Your FAFSA

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st to be considered for federal aid, required for some scholarships.

5. Submit the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Scholarship Application

  • Apply through MyÎá°®³Ô¹Ï by March 1st for priority consideration:
    • Go to MyÎá°®³Ô¹Ï → Select MyÎá°®³Ô¹Ï Self-Service → Click the Financial Aid Overview tile → Select Scholarships → Complete the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Scholarship Application.
6. Provide Your GPA
  • Self-report your GPA on the admission application or submit your high school transcript to ensure your eligibility for scholarships is evaluated.

Explore additional scholarship opportunities by checking for department or program-specific scholarships, applying for State of Idaho scholarships if you are an Idaho resident, and searching for outside scholarships to broaden your options. Additionally, take the time to review and understand the terms and conditions of Îá°®³Ô¹Ï scholarship awards to ensure you meet all requirements.

Priority Dates:

The priority date for the Îá°®³Ô¹Ï scholarship application is March 1st. Applications submitted after this date will be considered for second-round awards, subject to available funding. The final deadline is September 1st.

Submitting Transcripts:

Some scholarships require high school transcripts. If your scholarship needs one, it will be indicated in your MyÎá°®³Ô¹Ï portal when you accept the award.

  • Incoming Freshmen: Submit a seven-semester in-progress transcript and an official final graduation transcript.
  • Transfer Students: Submit an official final transcript.
  • Current Îá°®³Ô¹Ï Students: No need to submit a Îá°®³Ô¹Ï transcript.

Thank-You Notes

Some scholarships may require a thank-you note, but sending one to your scholarship donors is a customary and appreciated gesture. Contact information for donors will be provided in your award letter and within your Document Center in your MyÎá°®³Ô¹Ï Self-Service if you receive a scholarship.
